Financial Freedom — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Your data stays on your device.

Financial Freedom stores everything — your financial inputs, projection results, and settings — locally on your device (encrypted where your device supports it). If you turn on iCloud backup, a copy is saved to your own private iCloud container. We do not operate servers that receive or store your personal or financial information.

What we collect

Anonymous usage analytics. We use PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated events — such as “onboarding completed,” “projection viewed,” and “data reset” — to understand which features are used and improve the app. These events are not linked to your identity and include only the app version and simple flags/counts. They never include your financial figures, your Freedom Date, your age, your name, or anything you type. You can turn analytics off anytime in More → Anonymous analytics.

Crash reports. We use Sentry to capture a report when the app unexpectedly quits. A report includes the app version, device model, OS version, and a stack trace, scrubbed of personal data. It never includes your financial data or anything you typed.

What we don’t collect

There are no accounts and no advertising. We never sell data — we don’t have any of yours to sell.

Third-party services

Children’s privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
